Replacing a roof that has solar panels takes two teams working together. We do it with Esparza Solar LLC: they take care of the panels and we replace the roof, so your system comes back fully working and every step is in writing.
One day before the roof replacement we visit your home with Esparza Solar LLC. Before taking anything down, we check that every panel is working correctly.
If a panel or part isn't working, we identify it, mark it and show it to you, so you know the condition of your system before any work starts.
If it's a workmanship issue, we let you know and it's repaired when the panels are reinstalled. If it's a manufacturer defect, Esparza Solar LLC takes responsibility for the panels, starts the process so it's on record and orders the damaged parts.
The panels are taken down and Resilience Roofing and Restoration LLC replaces your roof.
With the new roof finished, the panels go back up with new wiring, new mounts and updated components, until the whole system is working again.
You get your warranties in writing: 10 years of workmanship on the solar panels, shared with Esparza Solar LLC, and 5 years of workmanship on the roof. We also hand you all the documentation, so you can request from your insurance company whatever applies to your case.
Solar panels: 10-year workmanship warranty, shared by Resilience Roofing and Restoration LLC and Esparza Solar LLC. Roof: 5-year workmanship warranty from Resilience Roofing and Restoration LLC. On top of that, the shingles and the panels keep their manufacturer's warranty for its full term.
Call us and we'll explain how the process works for your home. The inspection is free.
